American College of Trial Lawyer supports PILC / L’American College of Trial Lawyers soutient le CJIP

On December 20, 2022, the Public Interest Law Centre (PILC) was grateful to receive $15,000 from the Board of the American College of Trial Lawyers Canadian Foundation. As a direct result of this generous contribution, PILC has retained two Indigenous counsel to advance First Nation treaty and Aboriginal rights in Manitoba. This grant supports PILC’s and Legal Aid Manitoba’s ongoing work towards reconciliation, supporting the professional development of Indigenous litigators in Manitoba.

Le 20 décembre 2022, le Centre juridique d’intérêt public (CJIP) a été reconnaissant de recevoir 15 000 $ du Conseil d’administration de la Fondation canadienne de l’American College of Trial Lawyers. Grâce à cette généreuse contribution, le CjIP a retenu les services de deux avocats autochtones pour faire progresser les droits ancestraux et issus de traités des Premières nations au Manitoba. Cette subvention soutient le travail du CJIP et L’Aide Jurdique du Manitoba en faveur de la réconciliation, en soutenant le développement professionnel des avocats autochtones plaidants au Manitoba.
